The following students have been named to the spring 2018 Dean's List at Ashland University.
Seventeen students achieved membership in Baldwin Wallace University's Kappa Omega Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, in the spring 2018 semester.
Over 60 students participated in the 17th Annual Dance Marathon at Baldwin Wallace University. Dance Marathon is the largest philanthropy organization on campus. Lasting 12 hours, the marathon consists of performers, dance and HIV/AIDS education. All proceeds are donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, which seeks to educate and reduce the the transmission and cases of pediatric AIDS worldwide.

Five Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball student athletes have been named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.
Twenty BW students participated in the "Theatre Seminar in London: The Art and Business of Theatre" program, a transformative nine-day experience in London and Stratford-upon-Avon, England, during the spring 2017 semester. The program exposes students to British theatre in an immersive and international way.

Ovation Festival 2017, BW's annual celebration of student achievement, showcased student success in research and scholarship, the arts, experiential learning and leadership, and athletics. The signature event of the 10-day festival was the Day of Excellence, which featured exceptional student work from every school of the University through posters, exhibits, live presentations and performances.
The 2017 Student Life and Leadership Awards recognized the accomplishments of student leaders, faculty and staff advisers, organizations and programs that have made an impact on the BW community and beyond.
Twenty-nine exceptional student writers and artists at Baldwin Wallace University are featured in the 2017 edition of BW's annual literary and art journal, The Mill. The student-directed and student-operated publication showcases the creative achievements of gifted students from across campus disciplines.
The White Rose Ceremony is held annually in memory of Philura Gould Baldwin, granddaughter of BW founder John Baldwin and BW's first librarian. At the behest of the Baldwin family, an oration is given and select female graduates participate by carrying white roses that serve as a memorial to Philura whose life was cut short by tuberculosis at age 27. While no criteria must be met, each woman must have, in her own unique way, distinguished herself by making a difference in the BW community.
Thirty-seven caring Baldwin Wallace University students made a difference by volunteering at four diverse destinations during the 2016 fall semester. The BW Alternative Break service program gives students the opportunity to spend their breaks helping others. Each experience is led by a BW student with support from a University faculty or staff adviser. Student volunteers traveled to Detroit over Thanksgiving break and to San Antonio, New Orleans and Chicago over winter break.
As part of BWs Alternative Break service program, a group of 11 students traveled to San Antonio over Winter Break 2015. They took part in a variety of activities exploring issues of hunger and food insecurity in a diverse community including immigrant families and veterans. The Alternative Break experience at BW provides students with opportunities to make a difference, travel to another area, learn new skills and meet people with similar interests.
Baldwin Wallace University's Homecoming Weekend had the whole Yellow Jacket community abuzz. The weekend's festivities included a pep rally, parade, tailgate picnic, dance, alumni reunions and a Yellow Jacket football victory over the Muskingum University Fighting Muskies. The Jacket Prince and Princess were crowned during the Homecoming pep rally and the Homecoming King and Queen were crowned at halftime.
